HGV Technician opportunity in Leicestershire
  • Basic: Up to £50,900 / Up to £22.00 per hour
  • Rotating Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Saturdays: Alternative Saturdays 6:00am – 12:00pm paid at X1.5
An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Leicester. What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Completing safety inspections and MOT preparation work
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
What we’re looking for:
  • Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Positive and proactive approach to work
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • HGV licence advantageous but not essential
