Join a reputable main dealership in Rochdale as a Vehicle Technician and contribute to delivering exceptional automotive services. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a Monday to Friday position with no weekend work.

Duties:
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
  • Perform complex repairs including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and brake system replacements
  • Carry out comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify problems and recommend necessary repairs
  • Complete service and repair documentation accurately, ensuring high standards of quality
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols within a busy workshop environment
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology through ongoing training
  • Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and professionally
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a reputable automotive dealership or workshop
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • MOT qualified would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
