Vehicle Technician Opportunity for a Main Dealer in Stoke
  • £38,000 OTE
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5pm
  • Plus Saturday mornings on a Rota basis
  • Well established Main Dealer Group with a fantastic franchise
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our client's busy dealership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs on Volkswagen, Audi, and other VAG Group vehicles. The successful Service Technician will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient and precise workmanship.

Duties:
  • Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on VAG vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults using approved diagnostic equipment
  • Complete warranty, retail, and internal repair work accurately within designated times
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required
  • Maintain detailed records on job cards, ensuring all work is documented correctly
  • Work efficiently to achieve high first-time fix rates and meet productivity targets
  • Follow all workshop processes, technical bulletins, and quality standards
  • Keep tools and diagnostic equipment in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including Service Advisors and Parts Department, to ensure smooth workshop operations
  • Support junior technicians and apprentices where appropriate
  • Uphold manufacturer standards and dealership policies at all times
Requirements: 
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience working as an automotive technician within a franchised dealership or professional workshop
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
