  • Salary: Between £33-34,000 per annum, pending experience, plus a performance-related bonus scheme (around £3,600 per annum). 
  • Hours: Guaranteed 5-day week. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am-4:00pm, with a scheduled day off in the week when you work a Saturday

Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for an experienced Tyre Technician to join their busy centre in Nailsea specialising primarily in commercial vehicles.
 
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working with a friendly workshop team, your responsibilities will include: 
  • Complete tyre fitting and repairs on commercial vehicles.
  • Working in a safe manner and always complying with health & safety regulations.
  • Ensuring you do not work on any product or service that you have not been assessed as competent in or trained to conduct.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures
  • Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customer's vehicle.

To be eligible, you will need to have a UK driving licence with minimal points and have proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician, either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship. Experience with either commercial vehicles or agricultural vehicles would be required. Overall, you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.
