Paint Technician (Twilight) – Accident Repair Centre In Ilkeston

Salary: £45,800 basic | £50,000+ OTE (uncapped bonus)
Hours: Monday – Friday 12:00pm – 9:00pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paint Technician to join a busy and well-established Accident Repair Centre in Ilkeston. This is a modern, high-volume workshop offering excellent earning potential through an uncapped bonus scheme and consistent workflow.

Working within a skilled and supportive team, you'll repair a wide range of insurance, OEM-approved, prestige, fleet, LCV, hybrid and EV vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicles for painting and refinishing
  • Mix and apply paint using modern refinishing techniques
  • Carry out colour matching and blending to manufacturer standards
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality
  • Carry out final quality inspections before vehicle handover
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Work closely with the Panel and MET teams to ensure efficient repairs
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician or Paint Sprayer is essential
  • Qualified to NVQ, IMI, ATA or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong colour matching and refinishing skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
