Service Advisor Vacancy In Family Run Service Centre!
  • Pay: £34,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday 
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established, family-run service centre located in Woking. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to become an integral part of a respected business known for delivering high-quality customer service and expert vehicle care. The successful individual will act as the vital link between customers and the workshop, ensuring outstanding service experiences are consistently achieved.

Duties:
  • Greeting and assisting customers at reception with a friendly, professional approach
  • Booking customer vehicles into the workshop and managing workshop diary using bespoke customer IT systems
  • Discussing vehicle concerns and repair options with customers
  • Preparing accurate estimates and obtaining customer approval before work commences
  • Liaising with technicians to monitor vehicle progress and ensure timely completion
  • Managing workshop workflow and updating customers throughout the repair process
  • Ordering parts and managing warranty claims and returned parts
  • Preparing invoices and processing payments accurately
  • Arranging loan vehicles and supporting customer satisfaction
  • Identifying additional maintenance opportunities and supporting business growth
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive trade is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment under pressure
  • Comfortable with computer systems and workshop management software 
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and a professional approach
  • A proactive team player eager to develop their career within the automotive industry
