Our client, a long-standing family-run main dealer with over 20 years of success in the motor trade, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their friendly and supportive team. This dealership has built its reputation on trust, transparency, and first-class customer care. They are now looking for someone who shares these values and can deliver an outstanding service experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all service customers, providing a warm and professional welcome.
  • Handling customer enquiries efficiently, both in person and over the telephone.
  • Accurately booking in vehicles for service, MOT, or repair work, ensuring all information is recorded correctly.
  • Liaising with the workshop team to ensure updates are provided on vehicle progress.
  • Explaining maintenance work, additional repairs, costs, and timescales to customers in a clear and transparent manner.
  • Proactively up-selling products and services such as service plans, extended warranties, and accessories.
  • Processing invoices, payments, and warranty documentation with accuracy.
  • Managing aftersales administration, including warranty claims and follow-up calls.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor (or in a similar customer service role within the motor trade).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in working under pressure and handling busy service schedules.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail and IT skills.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to up-sell and meet targets.
