We are currently recruiting for the position of Health & Safety Advisor (Remote). This is a vital role designed for a proactive and experienced health and safety professional to provide practical support across multiple locations within the UK. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive safety culture across a variety of operational environments.

  • Previous Experience As Health & Safety Practitioner / Advisor Required
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) Essential
  • Supporting Sites Within Group With Health & Safety Procedures / Audits / Guidance On Health & Safety Matters
Duties:
  • Support over 20 UK locations through regular site visits, inspections, and audits, helping identify risks and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with managers to develop risk assessments, safe systems of work, and practical solutions that keep people safe while supporting operational performance
  • Lead and support incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and RIDDOR reporting where required
  • Help maintain compliance with UK health and safety legislation and support the ongoing development of our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Health & Safety Practitioner, Advisor, or similar role within the UK
  • Practical experience applying health and safety principles within operational environments, rather than predominantly office-based or theoretical roles
  • Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, workshop, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, transport, or similar industries
