PDI Vehicle Technician Required for Car Dealership in Horsham 

Pay: £33k + Bonus if PDI Technician or £34k if PDI Tech with MOT Licence + Bonus. Optional overtime 
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday - 30 minutes lunch  PDI Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable car dealership in Horsham, is seeking a skilled PDI Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic automotive environment.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £33,000 per annum, with bonuses available for PDI technicians
  • Higher salary of £34,000 per annum for PDI technicians holding an MOT licence, plus bonus
  • Optional overtime paid at time and a half
  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with a half-hour lunch break
  • Up to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Performance-based bonus scheme with an OTE of up to £7,000 annually
Duties:
  • Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using standard scanning tools (such as EML lights, engine scans)
  • Preparing vehicles for sale by completing essential pre-delivery checks
  • Upselling additional repairs or service work where appropriate
  • Assisting with general workshop tasks related to service, repairs, and sales preparation
  • Ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a PDI Vehicle Technician or similar role within a dealership or workshop environment
  • Technical competence in vehicle diagnosis and basic electronic systems
  • Ability to perform PDI procedures and identify potential fault areas
  • MOT licence is desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to working efficiently
  • Motivated team player with good communication skills
