Exciting Opportunity: Service Technician – Full-Time Position
  • Location: Cannock, Staffordshire (North of Cannock)
  • Salary: £30,000 Basic + Quarterly Salary Reviews 
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday — No Weekends!
  • Position: Permanent, Full-Time
Are you a Level 2 Qualified Service Technician looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with a reputable automotive business?

Our client is a well-established, award-nominated independent garage with a modern 10-bay workshop and an excellent reputation for quality workmanship. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join their friendly and professional team.

Your Duties as a Service Technician
  • Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Completing oil, filter, brake and general maintenance work
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying required repairs
  • Replacing and repairing common mechanical components
  • Carrying out basic vehicle diagnostics using modern equipment
  • Preparing vehicles to a high standard for customers
  • Following manufacturer and company servicing procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Working as part of a professional and supportive workshop team

Requirements For The Service Technician
  • Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent – essential
  • Previous experience within a workshop or automotive environment
  • Good understanding of vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Comfortable carrying out routine mechanical repairs
  • Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual and professional approach
  • A genuine interest in developing your automotive skills
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
