Are you an experienced Mechanic or Vehicle Technician looking for your next opportunity with a growing automotive business? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing automotive company for an experienced Mechanic/Vehicle Technician to join their Halesowen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills, increase their earning potential and build a long-term career within the automotive industry.
  • Basic £33,000
  • OTE £37,000+
  • Halesowen
  • Full-time | Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday  with Saturday a Saturday Rota 
Your duties will include:
  • Vehicle servicing, repairs and inspections
  • Tyre fitting and wheel alignment
  • Brakes, exhausts, batteries and suspension
  • Carrying out MOT repairs
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
  • Completing repairs safely and to a high standard
  • Advising customers on additional repairs and future maintenance
  • Following company vehicle inspection and health & safety procedures
  • Working effectively as part of a busy workshop team.
About the Service Technician:
  • NVQ Level 2 Automotive qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in mechanical and fast-fit repairs
  • Experience with diagnostics and diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of tyres, brakes, suspension, exhausts and servicing
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
