Are you an experienced Parts Advisor looking for a new challenge within the commercial vehicle sector? Our client is seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to join their team in Aylesford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting busy workshop facilities with essential parts and inventory management.

Duties:
  • Assist the service team in locating parts efficiently using computer systems, catalogs, and your product knowledge
  • Maintain accurate and organised inventory records, often using Microsoft Excel or similar software
  • Process sales transactions accurately and handle customer inquiries professionally via phone and in person
  • Collaborate with workshop managers and suppliers to source the best parts at competitive prices
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Organise stock storage areas to ensure safety and accessibility
  • Support the workshop with parts delivery and taking in deliveries to ensure smooth operation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Parts Advisor, ideally within a commercial vehicle environment
  • Strong organisational and inventory management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar stock management software
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures or parts supply is desirable
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a desire to improve store organisation
  • Ability to work well within a team and with suppliers to achieve goals
