An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Advisor to join the Trade and Retail parts department of a busy and successful automotive dealership in Leicester
  • Parts Advisor – Leicester Salary: £28,800 basic | OTE £33,300
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every 3rd Saturday 8:00am–1:00pm
Working within a professional and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in ensuring customers, technicians and the wider business have the correct parts available when they are needed. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous automotive parts experience who enjoys working with customers, has strong product knowledge and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Supplying parts to both Trade and Retail customers.
  • Taking customer enquiries via telephone, email and face-to-face.
  • Identifying and ordering the correct parts using manufacturer and parts catalogues.
  • Providing accurate parts pricing and quotations.
  • Processing parts orders and ensuring they are available when required.
  • Liaising closely with the workshop and technicians to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stock checks.
  • Receiving, checking and organising incoming parts deliveries.
  • Managing customer orders and keeping customers updated on availability and delivery times.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise parts sales and achieve departmental targets.
  • Providing a consistently high level of customer service.
About You:
  • Previous experience within an automotive Parts Advisor role is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive products.
  • Experience dealing with both Trade and Retail customers would be advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using parts catalogues and dealership systems.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
  • Commercially aware with a genuine desire to achieve sales targets.
