- Up to £40,000 Basic Salary
- £45,000 OTE
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- No Weekends
You’ll play a key role in keeping the workshop running efficiently, supporting the technicians around you and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general mechanical work
- Overseeing and supporting a team of 2 Vehicle Technicians and an MOT Tester
- Allocating and prioritising workshop jobs
- Ensuring vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently and to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks and supporting the team with technical advice
- Helping to keep the workshop organised and productive
- Liaising with the Service Advisor regarding workload and job progress
- Having occasional interaction with customers when required
- Leading by example and maintaining excellent standards of workmanship
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
- Strong experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Previous experience in a senior technician or workshop controller position, or the ability to demonstrate strong leadership within a workshop
- Excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills
- A methodical approach and high attention to detail
- The ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
- Good communication and team leadership skills
- A full UK driving licence
