MOT Technician Needed in Scarborough

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician and MOT Tester to join our client's team in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to develop their career within a reputable automotive dealership. The successful candidate will have a key role in maintaining high standards of vehicle servicing and testing.

What's On Offer?
  • Competitive basic salary up to £37,000 per year
  • Working hours from 08:30 to 17:30
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties as a MOT Technician will include:
  • Conduct MOT testing to ensure vehicles meet legal and safety standards
  • Perform vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Diagnose and diagnose complex automotive issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work clearly and professionally
Requirements that the MOT Technician will need:
  • Proven experience as a Service Technician and MOT Tester
  • Full MOT Tester qualification
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
