My client a family-run and friendly working environment and are continuously recognised for their fantastic customer satisfaction, their appreciation and support towards their staff. They are looking for an experienced Vehicle technician / MOT Tester to join their busy dealership.
  • Family-run independent garage 
  • Salary Up to £35,000 depending on experience + Bonus
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm 
  • Plus Saturdays on a rota 9am - 12pm
  • Great working environment with a well-established company that values it's staff
The main responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester role include: 
  • Diagnosing complex symptoms spanning the entire spectrum of vehicle systems
  • Manage time efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction is met 
  • Utilise cutting-edge video vehicle health assessments to pinpoint issues and seize potential opportunities for upselling
  • Communicate clearly updating work progression 
  • Hon your skills through regular training, with a special focus on electric vehicles 
  • Play a pivotal role in the team's success by offering technical guidance and coaching to your colleagues
  • Uphold a pristine and secure work bay, consistently adhering to established standards
  • If required, perform MOTs in alignment with DVSA standards
To be considered for this Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester role, you must have:
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment and working on clutches cam belts. 
  • MOT license is desirable but NOT essential 
  • Ideally a qualification to Level 3 standard
  • Full UK driving licence
