We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership in Brentwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and is keen to develop their career within a supportive and rewarding environment.

The Vehicle Technician role offers a basic salary of £32,429, with an average OTE of £43,000. You will work 45 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with one in two Saturdays available as overtime.

Duties:
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, technical inspections and diagnostic work to a high standard
  • Complete accurate vehicle health checks in line with company procedures
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and recommend suitable repair solutions
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer guidelines and quality standards
  • Deliver excellent technical and diagnostic services while meeting productivity and customer satisfaction targets
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date by completing all required training
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Contribute to an exceptional customer experience through professional workmanship and attention to detail
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 as a minimum
  • Previous experience within a franchised dealership would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Previous experience inspecting, repairing and servicing motor vehicles
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A commitment to high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous
