Due to business expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Vehicle Parts Manager to join our client’s franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Herefordshire.
  • Salary: Starting salary up to £38,000 per annum, pending experience and current earnings. 
  • Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Director and working as part of a friendly aftersales team, you will provide comprehensive parts sales, advice and support to customers, promoting parts sales both within the Branch and through mobile services.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing any parts related enquires giving the correct identification and information required.
  • Promote parts in compliance with customer upselling guidelines.
  • Manage parts sales with the objective of meeting Branch Parts Targets.
  • Manage stock room duties.
  • Attend any training course as deemed necessary by the Service manager.
  • Ensure compliance and achievement of CSI and UTP targets.
  • Ensure workstation and parts dept complies with 5S programme.
  • Liaise with customers and assist with any queries, keeping up with progress.
  • Manage the Parts Department standards, adhere and uphold all ISO9001 requirements.
  • Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
  • Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.
  • Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures.
  • Mentoring and developing the Parts Apprentice Role.
To be eligible, you will need recent or current experience as a Vehicle Parts Manager within a similar automotive business, or significant experience as a Parts Advisor with the ambition to progress. Commercial vehicle parts experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential. You must also be IT literate, as you will use an electronic parts catalogue daily, as well as being methodical, organised and a strong team player with excellent customer service and sales skills and a friendly, charismatic manner.
