Our client, a reputable car dealership in Horsham, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated and experienced workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic automotive environment.
  • Pay: Up to £35k DOE + £5K Bonus + Bonus. Optional overtime 
  • Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday - 30 minutes lunch 
Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £35,000 per annum, with bonuses available for vehicle technicians / mechanics
  • £5,000 in realistic annual bonuses paid monthly throughout in the year
  • Optional overtime paid at time and a half
  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with a half-hour lunch break
  • Up to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Duties:
  • Clutches, Timing Chains & Belts on all makes and models
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using standard scanning tools (such as EML lights, engine scans)
  • Preparing vehicles for sale by completing essential pre-delivery checks
  • Suspension and replacing faulty parts on customer or internal sales cars 
  • Assisting with general workshop tasks related to service, repairs, and sales preparation
  • Ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within a dealership or workshop environment
  • Technical competence in vehicle diagnosis and basic electronic systems
  • MOT licence is desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to working efficiently
  • Motivated team player with good communication skills
