HGV Technician Required in Crawley - on Call Rotating week on, week off 
  • Pay: £20 - £26 Per Hour DOE + Qualifications + call out premium
  • Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday core hours with every other week being on call and available 24/7

As an HGV Technician, your key duties will include:
  • Conducting inspections, repairs, and defect diagnostics on a range of HGVs, trailers, PSV, and vans
  • Performing minor bodywork repairs such as panel replacements and windscreen repairs
  • Assisting with breakdowns primarily for fleet customers, with no motorway roadside repair work
  • Using state-of-the-art diagnostics equipment in a well-equipped workshop 
  • Ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards
  • Managing workload efficiently to deliver timely repairs and inspections
Candidate specifications for the HGV Technician role:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician
  • Relevant qualifications and licences, ideally Class 1 licence or willing to be put through your Class 1 licence 
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills on modern commercial vehicles
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A professional attitude with a focus on customer service and quality work
