Our client is seeking a skilled MET Technician who is passionate about automotive repair and eager to develop their expertise within a dynamic dealership environment.

As a MET Technician, your key duties will include:
  • Diagnosing, testing, stripping, rebuilding, and repairing motor vehicles
  • Investigating and reporting on vehicle and component repairability
  • Carrying out repairs according to manufacturer guidelines, insurance standards, and company policies.
  • Interpreting technical data and repair literature thoroughly
  • Working efficiently within allocated times and standards
Requirements of this MET Technician role include:
  • Formal qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Engineering or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience in automotive inspection and repair of vehicles (cars or vans)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience within a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential
