Vehicle Technician – Join a Specialist Performance Vehicle Service Centre in Canterbury, Kent

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to become a vital part of a dedicated team within a premier Performance Vehicle Specialist workshop. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to work on high-performance vehicles, from vintage classics to modern supercars, in a supportive and high-quality environment.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
  • OTE of approximately £45,000 per annum
  • No bonus pressures, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with potential overtime on Saturdays

Duties:
  • Servicing, repairing, and diagnosing a range of performance vehicles, including hybrid and electric models
  • Utilising factory diagnostics tools and direct factory links for ECU programming and software updates
  • Conducting general maintenance and repair work consistent with manufacturer standards
  • Working with advanced ADAS systems and performing wheel alignments with specialised equipment
  • Assisting with restoration and fabrication work on classic models
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a specialist or franchised dealership environment
  • Relevant qualifications and manufacturer training, with a focus on performance vehicles or similar brands
  • Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with modern and hybrid/electric vehicles
  • VAG experience is highly desirable for an easier transition
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and commitment to quality
