We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tyre Fitter / Tyre Technician to join a busy and growing automotive service centre in Halesowen. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to join an established business offering competitive earnings, regular bonus opportunities, fully funded training and genuine career development. You will be responsible for carrying out professional tyre fitting and repairs across a wide range of cars and light vehicles, ensuring every vehicle is worked on safely and to the highest possible standard.
  • Location: Halesowen
  • Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum
  • OTE £35,000+
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Monday to Friday with 1 in 2 Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out accurate tyre fitting, removal and repairs across a variety of vehicles.
  • Remove and refit vehicle components and complete any necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Identify and report any additional faults or issues found on customer vehicles.
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Keep vehicles clean and free from dirt, oil or marks resulting from work carried out.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
  • Seek advice and guidance where required to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
About You:

We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will ideally have:
  • At least 2 years' tyre fitting experience.
  • Previous experience working as a competent Tyre Technician, gained through employment or an automotive apprenticeship.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence, held for at least 6 months.
  • An automotive-related qualification would be advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to use your own initiative.
  • The ability to multitask and make sensible decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly, professional and approachable manner.
Tyre Fitter Salary & Benefits:
  • £29,000 – £31,000 basic salary
