Are you a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Parts Advisor with a passion for automotive parts and customer service? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, phone-based environment and supporting trade customers? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Our client, a reputable Franchised Car Dealership in Epsom, is looking for a Telephone-Based Parts Advisor to join their busy Trade Parts operation, supplying parts directly to independent garages, bodyshops, and business clients throughout the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing, dealer-backed parts team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service and ensuring efficient trade parts support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling incoming trade calls to identify and supply the correct parts for a wide range of makes and models.
  • Providing accurate quotes and parts availability, advising on lead times and alternatives when necessary.
  • Processing B2B orders efficiently, using dealership DMS systems.
  • Working closely with parts delivery drivers, internal departments, and trade customers to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Building strong customer relationships and maintaining regular contact with trade accounts.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of parts systems, promotions, and technical information.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role within the motor trade (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and cataloguing systems.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
  • Proficient in dealership management systems (e.g. Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar).
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach to work.
