Assistant Centre Manager – Automotive Service & Repair (Wolverhampton)
  • Location: Wolverhampton 
  • Salary: Up to £32,000 basic
  • OTE £36,000+ (monthly bonus)
  • 5-day working with a Saturday rota.
Are you a hands-on, driven leader with a background in automotive repair and customer service? A busy and expanding vehicle service centre is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Assistant Centre Manager to help lead its team and support daily operations.

Assistant Centre Manager – Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the service centre
  • Step into a hands-on role in the workshop when needed
  • Drive sales and help the team meet key performance targets
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and oversee workshop productivity
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies.
Assistant Centre Manager – What We’re Looking For
  • A strong mechanical or technical background with workshop experience
  • NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle as a minimum   
  • Proven leadership experience (team leader, supervisor, or assistant manager level)
  • A solid understanding of vehicle servicing and repair
  • Commercial awareness and a confident sales approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations in a workshop setting
  • Full UK driving licence.
