New/Used Van Sales Manager required in Bristol.
  • On-target earnings around £67,000 per annum and a personal company vehicle.
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-6:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm. No Sundays required.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a New/Used Van Sales Manager at our client's franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Bristol.

Reporting to the General Manager and managing a close-knit team of New/Used Van Sales Executives, your key job objectives will include:
  • Ensuring each customer receives an exceptional experience on every occasion.
  • Ensuring the sales team continuously delivers the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring agreed new & used business sales volume targets are met in line with monthly budgets.
  • Ensuring gross profit targets are met through the optimisation of sales and peripheral income opportunities, combined with appropriate control of costs and expenditure. 
  • Ensuring showroom control processes and procedures are followed consistently with every customer.
  • Achieving the customer satisfaction objectives and ensuring that each opportunity is taken to continuously improve the working methods and standards within the showroom environment.
To be eligible, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Bristol, have a UK driving licence with minimal points, be FCA/SAF accredited, and be an experienced Sales Manager or be a high-achieving Business/Transaction Manager looking for progression with a sound understanding of sales processes. Any experience with vans and commercial vehicles would be highly advantageous, but is not essential. Overall, you will be a customer-focused individual who possesses a passion for delivering exceptional customer care. Naturally organised and able to process detailed information, you will keep your product knowledge up to date and relevant and be motivated to achieve in a results-focused environment. You will have an outstanding work ethic, be able to lead from the front, inspire your colleagues to 'raise the bar' and exceed their full potential whilst driving sales and add-on performance forward. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience of working as part of a team with shared objectives and personal performance goals.
