Vehicle Trade Parts Advisor required, in Caerphilly.
  • Starting basic salary is fully dependent on your experience within the parts department. 
  • 2 performance-related bonuses providing additional earnings worth a total of up to £3,600 per annum. 
  • Monday to Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 7:00am to 1:00pm paid at time and a half.

Our client; a multi-site franchised approved Commercial Vehicle Dealer group, requires an experienced and professional Vehicle Trade Parts Advisor to join their site, in Caerphilly.

As a Vehicle Trade Parts Advisor; you will report to the Parts Manager and work alongside a friendly team of 8 parts staff. Your duties shall include, but are not limited to the following: 
  • To receive all parts orders, accurately identify requirements and ensure they are accurately and promptly picked and dispatched.
  • Accurately identify and process customer parts requirements; whilst maintaining a courteous and professional approach in a busy trade parts sales environment.
  • To be sales-orientated and target-driven to ensure successful parts growth.
  • To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are always adhered to.
To be eligible; you will live within a reasonable commuting distance of Caerphilly and ideally be located near Newport to provide coverage at our client's other dealership. You will need to hold recent or current Automotive Vehicle Parts experience, ideally working with dealership vehicle parts; however, our client is also very interested in potential employees from a motor factor background. You will also need to be IT literate, given you will work daily with a dealer management system (Kerridge) and electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK Driving Licence with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic manner.
