We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join a busy parts distribution team covering the Aberdeen region. This is a field-based role focused on building strong B2B relationships and growing aftermarket parts sales across a range of trade accounts.
You will be responsible for managing existing customers while actively seeking new opportunities to expand the client base. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a proven background in automotive sales or commercial parts.
What the Role Involves:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of trade accounts within your assigned territory
- Develop new business opportunities through cold and warm leads
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers
- Promote offers, provide product advice and secure repeat business
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer contact
- Work to set KPIs and revenue targets
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales (automotive or commercial preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Confident in identifying and developing new leads
- Full UK driving licence
