An excellent opportunity has become available for a Parts Advisor to join a busy parts distribution team in the Glasgow area. This is a key front and back-counter role supplying internal departments, trade customers, and the workshop with parts and accessories.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a main dealer or motor factor environment and be confident handling customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone.
Key Duties:
- Accurately identify and supply parts to trade and retail customers
- Handle orders via phone, email, and online platforms
- Maintain stock control and process incoming deliveries
- Upsell additional items and promotions when appropriate
- Liaise with the workshop and other internal departments
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role within the motor trade
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office and stock systems
- Knowledge of dealer management systems (e.g. Kerridge) is advantageous
- A team player who is proactive and reliable
