Location: Battersea, London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Salary: Minimum wage + comprehensive training

Are you an experienced Tyre Fitter with a background in tyre removal and fitting, looking to expand your skills into alloy wheel refurbishment? Our client, a well-established and family-run Accident Repair Centre in Battersea, is seeking a dedicated Tyre Fitter to join their team with the opportunity to train as an Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Technician.

About the Role: As a Tyre Fitter, you will handle tyre removal and fitting while training to prepare alloy wheels for refurbishment. You’ll work in a fast-paced, professional workshop, ensuring high-quality preparation work before wheels are passed to our professional painter and diamond cutter. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove and fit tyres to vehicles with precision and care
  • Prepare alloy wheels by rubbing down and cleaning for refurbishment
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Learn alloy wheel refurbishment techniques under expert guidance
  • Ensure all work meets company and customer quality standards
  • Contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in tyre fitting and removal
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Willingness to learn alloy wheel refurbishment skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and motivated attitude
  • Experience with vehicle jacking and basic workshop tools
