Workshop Controller Required in Worthing, West Sussex
  • Basic Salary Up to £40,452.10 per annum (£16.82 per hour)
  • Award-Winning Commercial Vehicle Dealer
  • Hours: 46.25 per week – Monday to Friday 06:00am to 04:00pm (1-hour lunch)
  • Saturdays: 1-in-4, 07:00am to 12:00noon
Our Client, a well-established and award-winning Commercial Vehicle Dealership Group with sites across the South East, is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join their busy and friendly aftersales team.

Duties of a Workshop Controller with our Client:
  • Oversee the daily running of the workshop, ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are achieved
  • Allocate work to Technicians and monitor progress throughout the day
  • Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards and within health & safety guidelines
  • Liaise closely with the Service Department to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Monitor quality of work and carry out final checks where required
  • Support the Service Manager in driving workshop performance
  • Maintain clear and accurate communication with customers, colleagues, and manufacturers
  • Handle administration tasks related to job cards, warranty, and compliance
What our Client expects of their Workshop Controller:
  • Previous Workshop Controller or Senior Technician / Foreman experience within the Commercial Vehicle or Automotive sector
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
  • Sound technical knowledge of vehicles and repair methods
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to live and work in the UK
