Mobile HGV/LCV Technician Required in Birmingham
  • Hourly Rate: £21.00 per hour + callout bonus 
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday only, 8:00am – 5:00pm (42.5 hrs a week )
  • Location: Birmingham 
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a highly respected and well-established commercial vehicle servicing provider.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering £21.00 per hour, working Monday to Friday. You’ll be part of a professional and friendly mobile team, providing on-site maintenance and repair services across the Birmingham region

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Routine servicing, inspections, and safety checks on LCVs and HGVs
  • Carry out fault diagnosis using manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools
  • Perform a wide range of mechanical and electrical repairs, including major unit overhauls
  • Deliver reliable roadside assistance and mobile repair work when required
  • Accurately complete all job cards and service records to manufacturer standards
  • Comply with health & safety and environmental procedures at all times.

Working Hours:
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Requirements for this Mobile Vehicle Technician role:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Essential)
  • Previous experience working on LCVs and/or HGVs
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • IRTEC qualification or MOT Tester Licence (Desirable, not essential)
