About the Vehicle Technician Role:

Join a thriving family-run car garage group as a Vehicle Technician at their brand-new, all-makes-and-models workshop opening in Cranleigh, Surrey, in July 2025. Our client, with six successful sites and plans for an eighth by year-end, is seeking a skilled technician to join their rapidly expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, growing business renowned for delivering exceptional automotive services across Surrey, with a profit-share bonus that grows as the business thrives.

What Our Client Offers the Successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive Salary: Up to £36,000 basic per annum, plus a £4,000 profit-share bonus (with potential to increase as the business grows).

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Vehicle Servicing & Repairs: Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models to the highest standards.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Accurately identify and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient and productive workshop environment.
  • Customer Service: Communicate technical information clearly to colleagues and occasionally customers.
  • Workshop Maintenance: Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and operational.
  • Documentation: Complete job cards and service records accurately and promptly.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with experience working on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Qualifications: Relevant automotive qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proactive Attitude: A self-motivated individual with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driving License: Full valid UK driving license required.
  • Industry Awareness: Knowledge of current automotive technologies and industry trends.
