What You'll Do:
- Service, diagnose, and repair a diverse range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models
- Conduct Class 4 MOTs for retail and internal customers with precision
- Accurately identify faults and deliver effective solutions, balancing quality and efficiency
- Manage recalls and warranties professionally and efficiently
- Perform Vehicle Health Checks and coordinate closely with the service reception team
- Utilise diagnostic tools HDS and other software to troubleshoot complex systems
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain high standards of customer care through clear communication and exceptional service
- Active and valid MOT Tester qualification - desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.)
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and data interpretation
- Excellent fault-finding and mechanical skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and procedures (preferred)
- Valid UK driving licence
- Strong IT proficiency for record-keeping and diagnostics
- Technician Certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with hybrid/electric vehicles
- Additional MOT Tester qualification (desirable)
- EV/Hybrid vehicle training (advantageous)
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic, ideally within a dealership or similar franchise
- Experience in routine servicing, complex repairs, and diagnostics
- Track record of delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and certification
- Commitment to safety and workshop procedures
