Are you a skilled MET Technician looking to advance your career in a reputable automotive environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our client’s busy franchised bodyshop in Blackpool. About the Role:
  • Location: Blackpool
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no weekends
  • Salary: £16 - £17 per hour (potentially higher depending on experience)
  • Bonus Structure: Time-saving bonuses available, making the realistic OTE £50,000+ annually
  • Holiday Allowance: Generous 30 days including bank holidays
Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles, including structural work, panel beating, jig work, and essential diagnostics
  • Strive for high-quality workmanship with a keen eye for detail
  • Complete vehicle repairs within set timeframes, maximising productivity and bonus potential
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety standards at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Requirements of this MET Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician within a bodyshop environment
  • Strong skills in structural repairs, panel work, sills, floors, and jig work
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in MOT, ATA, or equivalent are desirable
