  • Pay: £40,000 - £50,000 Basic 
  • Hours: 8am - 5.30pm 
Are you an experienced Motor Engineer looking to advance your career in a reputable and family-run automotive workshop? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a trusted service centre based in South Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a supportive environment where your expertise truly makes a difference.

Duties:
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics using modern equipment
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
  • Support and mentor junior technicians to develop team skills
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and quality controls
  • Complete MOT testing if certified, and manage related paperwork efficiently
  • Support the workshop in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Candidate requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with proficiency in interpreting fault codes
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT Tester certification is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and support team development
