Key Responsibilities as a Technical Sales Executive:
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, providing expert advice on automotive parts and components.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
- Deliver outstanding customer service from initial enquiry through to after-sales support.
- Handle technical enquiries, including sourcing specialist parts and liaising with suppliers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers across the UK.
- Monitor account performance and prepare sales reports and performance insights.
- Visit customers across the UK when required to strengthen relationships and support sales activity.
- Provide support to the administration team on technical and sales-related queries when needed.
- Proven experience within the automotive industry or a technical sales position.
- Strong working knowledge of automotive parts and components.
- A natural drive for sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Strong planning, organisational, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Confident and personable with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Competent using Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools.
