- Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday, 2:30pm – 1:00am
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Painter / Prepper to join a leading UK vehicle repair organisation at its Walsall site. This role is ideal for a skilled automotive professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality paint finishes and vehicle preparation work to manufacturer standards.
Working within a modern, well-equipped repair centre, you will be part of a highly professional team committed to delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities as a Paint Sprayer:
- Preparing vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, masking, priming, and filler repairs
- Mixing and applying paint in line with manufacturer specifications
- Carrying out colour matching and blending to achieve a flawless finish
- Identifying and rectifying paint defects when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Individual Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Painter, Paint Sprayer, Prep Technician, or similar role
- Strong preparation, colour-matching, and finishing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- ATA, NVQ, IMI or equivalent qualifications desirable but not essential
- Positive, proactive, and team-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- Excellent basic salary
