- Hours: 8 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday only

- Competitive salary of £50,000 to £55,000 plus performance-based incentives (Bonus starts after successful 3 month probation)

- Overall day-to-day management of both locations - 20 minutes apart from Dartford
- Lead, motivate and manage technicians, MOT testers and front-of-house staff
- Drive profitable growth and workshop performance
- Improve technician productivity, efficiency and utilisation
- Manage workshop loading, workflow and vehicle turnaround
- Monitor labour performance and parts margins
- Control work in progress
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Reduce unnecessary comebacks and rectification work
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and deal effectively with complaints
- Recruit, train, develop and performance-manage staff
- Manage staff attendance, personnel matters and appropriate staffing levels
- Monitor budgets, targets and KPIs
- Maintain MOT/DVSA compliance and high health and safety standards
- Ensure workshop equipment and facilities are properly maintained
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and customer retention
- Report directly to the Company Directors

• Work in progress and workshop efficiency
• Customer retention and overall profitability
You will be expected to take ownership of the performance of both locations, identify areas for improvement and implement practical changes that improve the business. Commercial performance must always be achieved while maintaining high standards of workmanship, customer service, MOT/DVSA compliance and business integrity.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in motor trade management, ideally as a Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, or Centre Manager
- Strong strategic thinking and solutions-focused mindset
- Proven ability to introduce change whilst maintaining team cohesion
- Excellent staff management skills
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle for travel between sites
