Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Required in Crawley, West Sussex for Car Dealership
  • Pay: £42,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime 
  • Hours: 45 hours per week Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a rota 
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our client's dynamic team in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within a well-established car dealership. The successful Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in delivering top-quality diagnostics, repairs, and customer satisfaction.

Duties:
  • Carry out advanced diagnostic, warranty, and repair work on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Conduct EV-related work and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently in compliance with manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify complex issues and implement effective solutions
  • Assist and mentor Apprentice Technicians in their development
  • Maintain high safety standards and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in all tasks
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Recognised Diagnostic Technician qualification
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (brand-specific experience is also considered)
  • Strong teamwork skills, adherence to processes, and high safety standards
  • Motivation to grow within a progressive dealership environment
  • Willingness to undertake ongoing manufacturer training, including electric and hybrid vehicle technology
