Semi Skilled Vehicle Technician or Skilled Mechanic Required in Sutton

  • Up to £31,000 DOE
  • Monday - Friday 42.5 hours + Saturday mornings on a rota
We are currently seeking a dedicated Semi Skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client's renowned family-run service centre in Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their skills within a supportive and professional environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will benefit from on-the-job training, the chance to gain additional qualifications, and the potential to secure an MOT license.

  • Competitive basic salary up to £31,000 OTE depending on experience

Duties:
  • Conducting pre-delivery inspection work and fault diagnosis
  • Servicing vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics
  • Advising service reception on necessary repairs
  • Producing accurate time estimates
  • Maintaining detailed repair and service records
  • Testing repaired systems and ensuring quality standards
Requirements:
  • Valid driving licence
  • Own tools
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience or interest in MOT testing is advantageous
  • Reliable and willing to learn with a proactive attitude
