Our client a Family Run Automotive Specialist Garage who are proud to offer a 5-star service in their local area are currently in the market for a MOT Tester. This client has an excellent reputation and have been trading for over 50 successful years. 

They are seeking an Experienced MOT Tester to join their expanding team and keep up with ever increasing demand.

This is an exciting opportunity for an MOT Tester who is looking to take on additional responsibility in their automotive career. They reward highly and put their employees at the forefront of all they do. 

Within this MOT Tester role your typical duties will include: 
  • Being Site responsible and a keyholder to the business
  • Ensure all MOT's are carried out in line with government agency guidelines to ensure full compliance
  • Conduct MOT's in line with DVSA guidelines and to adhere to company policies 
  • Monitoring roadworthiness (suspension, safety systems, lights etc and emissions  
  • Ensure all work is carried out and adhering to health and safety within the workshop 
  • Report vehicle mileage, defects and emissions - advising service receptionists of work needed to pass MOT's
  • Do light servicing and MOT repairs in busy times - highly desirable but not essential
