- Team Leadership: Conduct daily progress meetings, track job statuses, address bottlenecks, and foster a positive, disciplined team environment.
- Performance Optimisation: Drive productivity and profitability by setting and achieving departmental targets while minimising downtime.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards in line with company procedures and industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9002, PAS 125/BSI Kitemark).
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of job cards, maintaining detailed records for audit and compliance.
- Final Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections and sign off on completed work to guarantee high-quality standards.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate with customers, insurance companies, and stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of materials and parts, coordinating with suppliers for efficient inventory control.
- Health & Safety: Implement and enforce protocols to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Essential: Automotive administration, customer service or Bodyshop knowledgeable candidates
- Administration Skills: Strong ability to manage job cards, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to engage with team members, customers, and external partners.
- Desirable: Experience in a Main Dealer Bodyshop, though candidates from independent or insurance-based repair centres are welcome.
- Leadership: Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team while maintaining a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with industry software (e.g., Audatex, Thatcham Times) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
